The thirteenth annual assembly of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek slated for next Monday will focus on formation towards unity in Christ.
Bishop Caesar Mazzolari of Rumbek told Good News Radio that this year’s gathering with deal with ways of deepening the spirit of reconciliation in the hearts of those the church personnel work with.Bishop Mazzolari said that the assembly will evaluate the main events of the past year.
He described 2010 a renewing year marked by two radio stations, the ordination of a local priest, the bishops’ assembly in Rumbek, the start of women’s groups and the arrival of a new religious congregation.
Participants will arrive in Rumbek on Monday and leave on Friday.
