Don Bosco FM, that celebrates today one year on air, has changed the face of Tonj, in Warrap State, and it is one of its prides.
The statement comes from Fr. Cyril Odia, a Salesian priest from Nigeria, who directs the station.Fr. Odia told Good News Radio that many people are happy with the station that was established thanks to the good will of many people, including the determination of his Salesian colleagues.
Fr. Cyril said the radio started with four programs but now has up to 27 covering evangelization, health, civic education and education.
Bishop Caesar Mazzolari thanked and encouraged the staff of Don Bosco FM and all who helped setting up the radio for their dedication and support.
Don Bosco Radio 91FM is one of the nine radio stations of the Sudan Catholic Radio Network.
