Some 14 thousands returnees arrived in Central Equatoria since November repatriated from the North.
Stans Yatta, who heads the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission in Central Equatoria, told Bakhita Radio this morning that the returnees are being verified according to their payams, so that they can be transported to their final destinations.He added that the returnees will receive a plot of land after verification and consultations with the local communities.
Mr. Yatta said registration and verification of returnees is in progress.
Some 1,900 returnees came by plane, while the rest used barges.
