Central Equatoria Legislative Assembly yesterday passed its 2011 budget of almost 284 million Sudanese Pounds.
Speaker Naphtali Hassan Gale told SCR News that the budget will be spent on three areas of salaries operations and capital.Mr Gale said that 32 per cent of the budget goes to security while 26 percent will be sued in accountability and economic sector.
Education takes 15 per cent, while health comes at the bottom with only eight per cent.
Mr. Gale added that six per cent of the budget will go to counties in Central Equatoria as grants so that they can be able to provide services to their citizens.
