The head of Central Equatoria Referendum said that citizens voted massively for independence in the state although the results from Terekeka and Yei are not yet in.
Alfred Lokuji Sebit said that over 90 percent of the cast ballots were for secession while less than three percent wanted unity.He added that three percent of the registered voters in Central Equatoria did not turn up for the referendum.
Mr. Sebit said his office is waiting for the results from Yei and Terekeka that should have come today.
He added that he wanted to present the Central Equatoria total results tomorrow.
Mr. Sebit called on the citizens to wait for the final results with patience.
