Three quarters of voters registered in Yei River County have already cast their ballots.
This was the County Commissioner’s conclusion after touring most of the payams in his district.David Lokonga Moses told Easter Radio over the phone that from the reports he got the referendum vote was excellent.
Mr. Lokonga added that most of those who have not voted may have died or be nursing mothers.
He urged those who did not vote to rush to their polling centres and cast their ballot because tomorrow is the last day of the referendum vote.
Mr. Lokonga appeal to those who have lost their cards to go to the police to be helped to vote.
The commissioner urged the population to wait patiently for the referendum results which are due in early February.
