The chairperson of the Southern Sudan Referendum Bureau made his final call to the people of South Sudan to turn up and vote tomorrow and during the next six days so as to reach the 60 percent threshold that validates the plebiscite.
Chan Reec Madut told the press that tomorrow marks historic moment for South Sudanese and urged them to come forward and vote.
Justice Reec warned that if registrants do not turn up to vote, there might be a re-run of the referendum vote.
Justice Reec added that the exercise is the first of its kind adding that it will benefit the coming generations.
He reminded the voters that the options are clear and the choice is supposed to be made by the people of south Sudan.
Justice Reec noted that the more than two thousand polling centres have received their voting materials and the training of the polling staff was finalised.
He thanked the international community and the government of South Sudan for all efforts asserted to hold the referendum adding that without their help the scheduled date would not have been met.
