An official expressed satisfaction over state government support to the orphanage in Juba.
Elias Abdu Waju, who is Juba Orphanage Supervisor, told Bakhita Radio that Central Equatoria government is giving adequate support to orphans in Juba.Mr. Abdu explained that rapid changes appeared in the orphanage since the state government took over the institution from an Italian charity.
He added that the state government was the main source of support to the orphanage besides NGOs and individuals.
Mr. Abdu said although the orphans have what they need they miss their families.
Mr. Abdu added that there were 70 children at Juba orphanage, including 24 girls.
