The auxiliary bishop elect of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba criticized skin bleaching.
Father Santo Loku Pio told the faithful during the English mass at Saint Teresa’s Cathedral in Kator yesterday that skin bleaching is a sign of accepting slavery.Fr. Loku said in the past black colour was connected with the devil.
He added that God created the beautiful black colour and wondered why there were no cosmetics to change skin to black.
