The South Sudan Referendum Subcommittee thanked the people of Yei County for their positive response to the voter registration.
Ndole Ndoromo, who chairs the Subcommittee, thanked the people through Easter Radio for their enthusiastic turn up for the registration and the peaceful conduct of the exercise in the county.Mr. Ndoromo said that 85,490 people registering the 58 referendum centres in Yei County.
He urged all registered people to check their names when the lists are exhibited tomorrow in order to raise objections or complaints so that the necessary adjustments can be made before the vote takes place.
Mr. Ndoromo appeal to the people to turn up with the same spirit to the exhibition period and also during the voting time.
