Mary William Juwa, State Referendum High Committee Outreach Officer, told Emmanuel Radio that in pastoral communities men go with their cattle and women go to register.
Ms. Juwa said that in Kapoeta and Magwi the number of women who have registered outnumbered men overwhelmingly.
Ms. Juwa added that the voter registration for the referendum has been a success in eastern Equatoria.
However, she said in Budi there were some minor problems to be solved.
Ms. Juwa singled out Ngauro and Kimotong Payams as some of the areas affected by lack of adequate civic education.
