Returnees who came from Khartoum two weeks ago went yesterday to the Central Equatoria Returnees Rehabilitation Commission office in Juba to ask for urgent food support in order to get settled in their places of origin.

A group of returnees including men, women and children flocked to the office to complain for lack of food assistance.

SCR News talked to the returnees to find out about their situation.

Martin Joseph Mila Lasu said that returnees were promised cards when they arrived in Juba in order to receive food aid.

Mr. Lasu added that the returnees did not get the cards yet at ADRA office by the Juba river port, in order to get food.

Mr. Lasu said that the returnees decided to stop visiting ADRA and WFP offices and come to the Returnees Rehabilitation office to complain to the State authorities.

Ms Grace Marino said the returnees were wasting their time by going to WFP offices to present their complaints since the situation did not change.
