The residents of two bormas in Bungu payam expressed great joy after receiving goats from a Catholic charity to improve their livelihoods.
Arkangelo Pitya, one of the beneficiaries from the Sudan Aid’s project, told Bakhita Radio that the donation would help the villagers to boost their home economics.Mr. Pitya praised Sudan Aid for the initiative which he said would help parents to send the children to school.
Zibora Jokudu William was another recipient of a couple of goats.
Ms. Jokudu said she was happy with the organizations that look after vulnerable people in southern Sudan.
Mrs. Jokudu revealed that it was hard for her to survive after she returned from a refugee camp in Uganda.
She affirmed that the two goats given her would improve her life.
Yesterday, Sudan Aid offered 34 goats to 17 households in Bungu payam.
