The Government of Southern Sudan allotted 82 million Sudanese Pounds to be distributed to political parties, state task forces and civil society groups to mobilize citizens to take part in the referendum in the Sudan and abroad.
GoSS Vice-President Riek Machar Teny Dhuorgon told the press this morning in his office in Juba that the government distributed 72 million Sudanese pounds to the different parties and state task forces to mobilize voters in Southern Sudan, in the North and abroad.
Dr. Machar added that GoSS allotted another ten million pounds for communications outreach to assist the civic society organizations.
