A member of Central Equatoria parliament said that lack of water and insecurity remain challenging factors in Munuki Payam, Juba County.
On Tuesday, Central Equatoria State Legislative Assembly deputy speaker Hastin Yokwe and MP Alfred Kiri paid a visit to Munuki payam.Mr. Yokwe told SCR News this morning that water distribution is still weak in the area and Munuki and Gudele are not yet served by the water distribution network.
Mr. Yokwe revealed that land grabbing is rampant in Munuki payam and a source of insecurity.
He said the area has also deficient health coverage.
Mr. Yokwe said water, security, health and electricity issues are followed by the concerned authorities and some problems should be fixed before the referendum.
