The governor of Central Equatoria State decried land grabbing which he said is chronic especially in Juba town.
Clement Wani Konga told the participants at the Eighth Governors’ Forum yesterday that many landowners were victims of harassment and intimidation by land grabbers.He cited a woman from Juba Nabari who was beaten and had to be admitted at Juba Teaching Hospital.
Governor Konga called upon the forum to address the issue of land grabbing in an effort to achieve good governance in Southern Sudan.
