The referendum commission released a full timetable of the exercise and submitted its budget to the presidency yesterday.
Southern Sudan Referendum Commission is the body tasked with organizing the vote on self determination for the people of southern Sudan slated for January 9, 2011.SUNA News Agency said the commission set the voter registration process from November 14 and to December 1.
Media campaigns start on November 7 and will continue until January 7, 2011.
The commission said the first electoral register would be published on December 6, five days after the end of the registration period.
Complaints against the electoral register should be settled between December 13 and 30.
The commission said it would publish the final electoral register on January 4, 2011 while the voting process would start as scheduled on January 9.
The commission also submitted its budget to the presidency for approval.
