A cross section of Christians rallied today through the streets of Juba prayers prayed for Government of Southern Sudan and for a successful referendum.
The participants marched to the President’s Office, in the ministries compound.Thiec Nhalic Executive Secretary, John Ajang Mabior, told SCR News that the rally aimed at praying for GoSS leaders including Salva Kiir Mayardit and for a peaceful referendum.
Mr. Mabior said the participants were from different churches and tribes in South Sudan.
Mr. Mabior added that such Christian programmes would forge unity among the people of south Sudan.
He hoped that their prayers would be answered.
“Riches without land are no riches” was the driving theme for the Christians who marched waving their hands towards the President’s Office.
