More than 100 women from Juba Catholic Archdiocese concluded today a workshop on healing and transformation to learn how to improve their lives.
The facilitator of the workshop, Genevieve Van Waesberghe, told SCR News she was training 125 women on concrete ways to manage their feelings.Ms. Van Waesberghe said she was teaching the participants how to control their emotions to come out of their traumas and take care of themselves.
Ms. Van Waesberghe anticipated that women who underwent the training would help their family, friends, neighbors and communities how to handle their emotions and take care of themselves.
The training under the theme Heal our World started yesterday and ended today. The participants came from different parishes of Juba Archdiocese and other Christian denominations.
The facilitator worked in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya and Nigeria.
