Unknown men last night beat a woman unconscious at her home in Yei County.
Sarah Natalina, Yei Women’s Association Chairperson, told Easter Radio over the phone that the woman was called out at night and as soon as she responded unknown men entered her room and beat her severely.She added that the victim was referred to Yei civil hospital for treatment where she remains in a critical situation.
Mr. Natalina urged the authorities to take the issue of security very seriously since people are traumatized with the incident.
She also urged citizens to be concerned about their own safety.
