KHARTOUM STATE OFFERS MACHINES FOR TECHNICAL SCHOOLS

The state Government of Khartoum offered machines and tools to Central Equatoria ministry of Education to support local technical schools.

Central Equatoria state Minister for Education, Manase Lomole Wayal told SCR News that the state received ten motor engines to help Juba technical secondary students in their practical lessons together with other material.

Mr. Lomole said the grant is a gesture of mutual cooperation between Khartoum and Central Equatoria states.

Mr. Lomole revealed that some machines would be distributed to Yei, Lainya, Kajo Keji and Terekeka where the state government plans to open technical schools.

He said the Governor of Khartoum state asked him to send some 50 young men to Khartoum to be trained as trainers of trainers.

Central Equatoria has only one Secondary Technical School in Juba that inaugurated last month four new workshops.
