WORKSHOP ON GOOD GOVERNANCE KICKS OFF IN RUMBEK

A two-day workshop on good governance kicked off in Rumbek yesterday, targeting mainly director generals from the various ministries of Lakes State.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Dr. Laban Nelson, a facilitator, said the event aimed at reforming the public service to make it honest and effective, Good News Radio reported.

The Director General in Lakes State Ministry of Labor and Public Service, Abraham Makur Mangok, clarified that the director generals were going to share, during the workshop, the progress made in the public service reform agenda to implement the resolutions from the training.

The training is sponsored by the UK Department for International Development and implemented by an organization called Skills for Southern Sudan.
