Jimmy Lemi Milla told journalists that his major priority would be to initiate cooperatives in the rural area.
Mr. Milla said that his ministry would identify problems affecting the rural areas including water, food security, and road communication among others to facilitate rural activities.
Mr. Milla said that the ministry would draw out short and long term plans from what has been laid down already by the former minister adding that the time is too short to implement so many projects due to the referendum.
The new minister made thse comments after a handover ceremony that welcomed him to the ministry yesterday.
