National Executive secretary of Sudan aid, Nyiker Okoth Awin told SCR News that the aim of the workshop is to prepare the church to be responsive since it is the first place the needy come for help.
Mr. Nyiker acknowledged that southern Sudan is passing through the last CPA transition which ends with the referendum.
Mr. Nyiker foresaw that there would be movement of huge number of people especially from north to south adding that the returnees would need assistance.
The workshop was organized by Catholic relief Service to prepare domestic communities and ensure the church involvement to serve the needy.
