FORMER STUDENTS PRAISE ST. PETER CLAVER ECOLOGICAL TRAINING CENTRE

St. Peter Claver Ecological Training Centre in Rumbek has been praised by its former students for its efficiency.

The training center offers 8 months training in solar and electrical installations, simple construction, water and ecological technologies.

Samuel Kiir Dut, Angelo Deng and Daniel Lueth are former students at St. Peter Claver alumni. They told Good News Radio that they have acquired skills from the training centre that can help them in future.
Mr. Dut said that he found the training easy because the teachers were dedicated, adding that he is able to do solar installation and electrical wiring.

Angelo Deng said that he is a trained technician, while Daniel Lueth a primary teacher said that he is looking for a job opportunity to be able to use the electrical skills he acquired.
David Komakech, one of the teachers at the center said he is interested in building the capacity of local personnel to have them engaged in developing south Sudan.

Mr. Komakech appealed to students who are out of School to apply and receive training at the Centre, adding that registration is under way.
St. Peter Claver Training Centre is situated at the Jesuits Compound of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Rumbek.
