The crowd of worshipers gathered at Sts Peter and Paul Parish Gidel of the Catholic Diocese of El-Obied on Thursday to celebrate the feast of St Daniel Comboni in Mountains.
Parish Priest James William Silgat told the congregation that many Christians today are the result of Comboni’s faith, Voice of Peace Radio reports.
Fr William urged parents to take courage and inspire their sons and daughters to be priests and sisters so as to serve like St Comboni.
He advised young men and women to take education seriously and not to get discouraged when face difficulties.
The priest was preaching to the faithful who attended St Daniel Comboni feast in Gidel on Thursday.
