Association for Media Development in South Sudan or AMDISS with fund from USAID is training Journalists of Bhar El Ghazal region in Wau on media ethics, safety, gender-based violence reporting and trauma healing.
ADMISS representative, Juma Peter reveals that workshop aims at equipping the journalists on excellent gender-based violence reporting while observing the media ethics and safety.
UJOSS chairperson in Western Bhar El Ghazal State, Alor Deng, thanked AMDISS and partners to extent such workshop for better media development in the state.
Director-General in the State Ministry of Information and Telecommunication, David John Jongo urged the journalists to make good use of the workshop in order to practice good journalism that positively impacts the community.
The officials made these remarks to media in Wau, Western Bhar El Ghazal State.
