SPLA Spokesperson has denied allegation that Malakal was captured by opposition forces after clashes on Friday.
Brigadier Lul Ruai Koang told Journalists in Malakal on Sunday that they recorded about eight clashes between the two forces in Eastern Nile, Fashoda and Southern Liech States, Radio Bakhita reports.
He recalled that some 62 armed opposition soldiers were killed across South Sudan in similar clashes last week.
Radio Bakhita could not reach Opposition forces for comment on the statement.
