The citizens and government officials in Tonj South County of Warrap State are mourning the sudden death of Town Clerk.
The late Benjamin Dhuony Mathiang suffered from malaria complication for short period of time but unfortunately he passed away on Wednesday morning.
The Executive director of Tonj South County and Acting commissioner Marko Mabior Ajiech has declared one day of mourning for all government institutions with exceptions of schools and high court in the County.
Mabior said it was four days ago the clerk took permission to go for treatment and was diagnosed with malaria and he started his medications after that he had been vomiting for a while.
Marko said late Benjamin spend three days in the hospital in Tonj after he was taken home his condition became worse and he told his family to take him to Wau for further treatment.
Mr Benjamin was appointed as Town Clerk by former acting commissioner of Tonj South County Natale Nhial up to his death.
The Lord gives and the Lord takes let his name be glorified.
