Priest urges learners to stand for rights once abuses

A Catholic Priest at Sacred Heart Parish Tonj in the Catholic Dioceses of Rumbek urged learners to stand firmly for their rights and duties moreover report if they face any violation.

Fr. Tamil Selvan thanked the trainees from CDOR for their commitment and having removed the poverty of ignorance among the learners and the society on Child Protection and Human rights.

Tamil Selvan urged both pupils and students from the two schools to be agents of passing on the knowledge to the society by being the examples to others.

Fr Selvan recommended the learners to stand strong for their rights by reporting the abuses subjected on them for a better South Sudan, Don Bosco radio reported

He assured the learners that they need to thank God for being chosen among thousands pupils and students.

Fr. Tamil told the learners that there are churches and universal laws that protect children from child abuses and severe harms imposed on them.

The Priest encouraged the students to make use of the knowledge given to them in correct manners and focus on their future lives.
