Don Bosco secondary students debated on Human right promotion in the Nation

Don Bosco Secondary School in Tonj South County of Warrap State organized internal debate between two houses Comboni Bosco and Bakhita Savio students in relation to building confidence in public presentation.

The students of Bakhita Savio who proposed the motion ‘’Human right should be promoted in our country’’ won the debate with one hundred and sixty-six (166) points Don Bosco radio reported.

Adeng Longar Akuei one of the speakers said that Human rights are the basic rights and freedom that belong to all people in the universe from birth to death.

She added that the rights should be granted regardless of the nationality, sex, ethnic, color, religion, language and other status.

Meanwhile Mr. Malek from Comboni House stressed that human rights gave freedom to people to act immorally and forget the cultural ways of living in the community.

He added that it has given many young people freedom to be drug abusers and eventually leads to irresponsibility in future.

The speakers made these to Don Bosco radio during human rights debate on Friday in Don Bosco Secondary School Premises in Tonj South County of Warrap State.
