The people who differently abled in Tonj South County of Warrap state are calling on their fellow men and women with special needs to join them in the school.
The call came after IOM Organization has equipped people living with disability on capacity building, this is the golden chance for people with special needs to learn.
Deng Anyar Akol one of the participants of one-month’s training said he will be able to help others as well as can stand on his own without depending on others if he continues to attend school.
Project assistant of IOM Meliku Gloria Lazarus said, individuals with special needs are suffering in terms of going to schools with wrong cultural believes and perceptions. Hence, the main aim of this training is to break those barriers and empower people to accept those differently abled and help them.
Gloria said they have so far send twenty youth with special needs to Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre in Wau among them were 17 males and 3 females who have taken up different courses.
The speakers made their remarks to Don Bosco radio during the graduations of people with special needs last week. They have attended massive training on how to write with braille and sign language in Tonj South County Warrap State.
