Easter Football Club of Yei River in Central Equatoria State on Wednesday travelled to Juba to represent the county in the South Sudan Cup tournament and is expect3ed to face Superstars of Bor.
Team leader, Clement Nelson Tereka, through Radio Easter before departure, called for support from the people of Yei to the club as it represents the county in South Sudan Football Cup Competition.
He mentioned that the players are well trained though there are some challenges.
The team leader also called for peaceful coexistence among the people in Yei and hopes to win the game.
Meanwhile Easter FC Captain Elias Likambu James stressed that their squad is having the stamina to win the game against the opponent.
On November 6, 2021, Easter FC emerged winner of South Sudan cup finals after beating Black O4 in finalities shoot out in Yei.
Easter FC will face Superstars of Bor on Friday, 21st of January 2022 in their first leg of home and away match.
