African Centre graduates over 1 thousand first aid trainees in Yambio

Over one thousands first aid workers graduated after completing two months training to respond to any emergence in the community in Yambio, Gbudue State.

Oliver Hillario, African Training Centre Manager, calls up on communities to collaborate with health officers to respond to emergencies in the community

He adds that the trainees have acquired qualification to treat sicknesses at early stages before worsening.

Dr Hillario discloses that the African Training Centre is aiming to carry out the same training in the whole of South Sudan.

Acting Minister of Health in Gbudue State, Gibson Bullen Wande advises the graduates not to show off but let them offer effective services to the communities.

He notes that it is important for them to give services to the needy persons or community.

Graduate Cyrilo Franco says with the two months training, they are able now to treat a sick person special with too much bleeding at early stage.

Another graduate Joyce Peter expresses her excitement she can now offer first aid services for free before taking the person to the hospital.

Badagbu Daniel Rimbasa the Governor for Gbudue State urges the graduates to go and educate the communities on some of the deadly disease like HIV/AIDS and appetite B among others which are destroying and reducing the number of the people in society

The graduation of first AIDERS was conducted on Saturday at Yambio freedom Square
