Seven people were killed and another 12 injured when raiders from Kongor community attacked Luac-Koth in the same Tonj East County of Warrap State on Wednesday evening.
Tonj South County Commissioner Mario Monydhiet Gor told Don Bosco Radio that Tonj East Commissioner told him over the phone that the attack took place around 4:30 AM.He said the fighting started when Kongor youths attacked Bar-Ayiei cattle camp.
Mr Gor said there were three women and one girl among the dead.
One woman was pregnant.
Mr Gor added that no cows were taken during the attack.
He said a police force separated the fighters.
Mr Gor urged all the people to live in peace and cooperation because fighting does not develop the country.
