CES COMMITTED TO SUPPORT JUBA MILITARY HOSPITAL RENOVATION

The Government of Central Equatoria affirmed its commitment to support the renovation of Juba Military Hospital that is in a bad shape.

Governor Clement Wani Konga visited Friday sick and wounded soldiers and saw the great maintenance needs of the military hospital.

Governor Konga said Central Equatoria State will coordinate with the Directorate of the Military Medical Corps to ensure that the hospital is renovated to improve its conditions.

State Gender and Social Development minister Mary Apayi said Central Equatoria contributed 50,000 Pounds, medicines and food to support the sick and wounded in Juba Military Hospital.

She stressed that the soldiers needed to be supported and treated to defend the country.

Director of the Military Medical Corps Major General Dau Aleer appreciated the visit of Central Equatoria Government.

He said the staff felt honoured and appreciated for the service they were delivering to sick and wounded soldiers.

This was the second visit Central Equatoria State government officials paid to Juba Military Hospital after South Sudan’s independence.
