A 35-year old teacher was arrested in Lasu Payam accused of impregnating two P6 pupils and a thirtyish house builder was jailed for raping an underage girl in Ombasi Boma of Otogo Payam on Wednesday.
Yei River County Juma David Augustine told Radio Easter that the authorities will hunt down all who abuse school girls to bring them to book.He appealed to the relevant institutions to report such incidents to the authorities for immediate action.
Mr Juma urged parents to report cases of sexual abuse of their daughters to the authorities.
He asked parents to protect their daughters’ education to reduce the literacy gap among the female population in the Country.
The two men are under police custody waiting to be brought to court after investigations are completed.
