CONSTITUTIONAL REVIEW COMMISSION RECEIVES VIDEO CAMERAS

The National Constitutional Review Commission received ten video cameras to register the views of people on the Permanent Constitution.

Chairperson Akolda Man Tier thanked the Canadian Government and the International Development Law Organization or IDLO for supporting the Constitutional Review Commission, Bakhita Radio reported.

He said the cameras will help record and document all constitutionals review activities across the ten states, especially during the civic education process.

IDLO Country Director Ted Hill said his organization was happy to participate in South Sudan’s constitutional review process and support it.

He thanked the Canadian Government for funding IDLO.

Mr Hill said the cameras come with full packages and have big capacity to record and store materials for future use.

Each state will get one camera.
