The first hearing on last December’s incidents in Wau started on Tuesday in Wau North Court.

The police prosecutor presented his findings on the Wau-Bussere main road blockade, Voice of Hope reported.

The accuser was a representative of the police personnel.

Twelve suspects appeared in court with ages ranging between 18 and 35.

The first hearing session continued for four hours.

During the second session, the attorney general called for the postponement of the sitting complaining that there was no prior information about the hearing.

Following the attorney’s request, the judge postponed the session to Wednesday morning.
