Eastern Equatoria Speaker has suspended the chairperson of the Specialized Committee of Information and Telecommunication.
Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi announced to the House that Joseph Lokodo was suspended until allegations against him were cleared, Radio Emmanuel reported.The Speaker announced the formation of a fact finding committee to investigate the allegations.
Mr Ocholimoi did not give details of the accusation against Mr Lokodo.
Justine Lobuya Lopee, an MP representing people with disabilities, replaced Mr Lokodo as the head of the Specialized Committee of Information and Telecommunication.
Kasara Kiwa remained the deputy chairperson of the committee.
