South Sudanese need to face the challenges of nation building with sober minds.
Central Equatoria Physical Infrastructure Minister Samuel Suba said South Sudanese haf to show to the world their deserved their independence and were able to deliver, Radio Easter reported.Mr. Suba also said security was critical for progress.
He added that law and order should be enforced to curb insecurity.
Mr Suba said a week nation was not productive.
He singled out education as the way to reach higher levels of social and cultural development.
Mr Suba explained that the Central Equatoria Development Council was established to look at education and development.
The minister went to Yei to witness the start of the Yei-Lasu Road rehabilitation, the construction of the Kiji Secondary School and the renovation of Yei Civil Theatre.
He made the statements at the end of Sunday Mass at Yei’s Christ the King Cathedral.
