An inter-county football tournament named “Sports for Peace” kicked off on Friday at Torit’s Freedom Square, Eastern Equatoria state.
State minister for Culture and Social Development, Patrick Lodinga, told Radio Emmanuel that the tournament is accommodating eight teams.Mr Lodinga said the three-day football tournament aims at bringing the youth from counties for peaceful interaction.
He added that Manna South Sudan supported the competition supplying all the material needs.
Manna South Sudan’s support includes sportswear and logistical support.
