Western Equatoria Education Minister told his directors to be creative and professional during Wednesday’s staff meeting.

Pia Philip Michael urged the directors to form a committee to inspect the schools which are overcharging registration fees, Anisa Radio reported.

He said corrupt headmasters should be punished for disobeying the policy of the ministry.

Mr Pia thanked the director for private schools, Grace Thomas, for inspecting and selecting the qualified private schools to operate in the State.

Out of 25 private schools, four did not meet the needed standards.

Mr Pia appreciated the Directorate of Alternative Education System for opening an adult program for 30 illiterate staff among cleaners and messengers.

He warned his staff to be punctual during the working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.
