The Deputy Minister of Defence said the last two months have witnessed an unusual build up of Sudanese troops in Western Bahr El Ghazal and some parts of Northern Bahr El Ghazal.
Majak Agot told the press on Tuesday that the military build up indicates that Sudan is planning to impose military solutions to solve the issues between the two countries.He explained that the most unacceptable action was Sudan’s several incursions in Waragwet of Northern Bahr El Ghazal state and farms in Renk where property and lives were lost.
Dr Agot said there was another big military build up in Panthou or Heglig and areas adjacent to Upper Nile state.
He said the SPLA was ready and capable to defence the territories of South Sudan.
