Pupils at Juba Christian Centre are delighted because they scored the best results in Central Equatoria’s Basic Eight Leaving Examinations.
On Wednesday, Central Equatoria minister of Education announced the leaving examinations results for Juba and Terekeka counties.Catherine Poni Clement, who was the second best pupil, told Bakhita Radio that she was very happy with the results.
She urged colleagues in lower classes to follow their footsteps in order to raise the name of the school.
Teacher Tombura Joseph Lumayo praised the school administration for their consistency in the supervision and direction of school activities.
Mr Tombura said private schools follow teachers and make sure they cover the programs.
Juba Christian Centre has five pupils among the first ten in the state basic school examinations results.
