Some officials from Central Equatoria Ministry of Finance are being rejected for deployment by some heads of unit.
Director General in Central Equatoria Ministry of Finance and Economic Development John Ejino Loku told reporters in Juba that some of officials sent to state departments to handle finances were rejected for no clear reason, Bakhita Radio reported.Mr Ejino said public service rules stipulated that anybody rejected in the area of deployment should be returned to the Headquarters for observation after investigations.
He revealed that the rejected officials would be replaced if allegations against them were genuine.
Mr Ejino said he didn’t know why some institutions refused finance managers from the Headquarters.
He said some officials might be refused because they were carrying their duties well or they because they had some administrative weaknesses.
Mr Ejino said so far two officials were rejected by heads of unit in the state.
He made the statement at a three-week public financial management training to the staff of the state ministry of finance.
