Members of Eastern Equatoria State Legislative Assembly have resolved to suspend MacDowell Construction Company operations in the state.
The MPs resolved to terminate road and bridges construction contracts under MacDowell Company through legal advice before taking action, Radio Emmanuel reported.PMs said three months passed without any report to the House.
MP Alphonse Muras Chacha said the Assembly has over waited for a legal report on the MacDowell Company matter lamenting that the rains are about to fall while the issue remains unresolved.
MP Arungole Rino Loremo complained that they raised the issue in the Parliament, but up to now their demands were not fulfilled.
MP Agnes Lox described the action of MacDowell as an abuse of power.
Deputy speaker Paul Napwon said the matter should be referred to the Assembly Business Committee for further discussed because MacDowell could not dictate over the Parliament.

The reported indicated the MacDowell Company performance was poor.
