The United Democratic Front (UDF) is calling on a general reconciliation conference involving all its members due to division within the party.
UDF Deputy Secretary, John Aurelio Okech, in a press conference disqualified all differences between Philip Yona and Sebastian Ochan.He said called on the rivalling leaders to leave behind their difference and reconcile in order to hold the party’s national convention.
Mr AurelioÊ said the reconciliation will include all members of the party.
He announced the dissolution of the bodies under Philip Yona and that under Sebastian Ochan.
Mr Aurelio announced the formation of a national transitional body to be in charge for 75 days preparing the national convention.
The party has been in trouble over power struggle since the arrest of its former leader, Peter Sule on allegation of rebelling against the government.
