One man was injured and five cows were killed when the Sudanese antonov plane dropped 15 bombs in Kauda and Kumo, in Nuba Mountains on Wednesday night.
SPLM-N Political Chairman in Heiban County, Younan Albarout Ajour, said the Sudanese Government started bombarding its civilians in Kauda since last Friday.The attack began at 12:30 PM.
Mr. Albarout criticized Khartoum Government for not allowing people in Nuba Mountains to celebrate Christmas in peace.
He accused it of using religions as political expression to undermine its own people.
Mr Albarout accused the International community of being reluctant to stop the aerial bombardment in the Nuba Mountains region.
He said the international community has not taken any action against the Sudanese Government and that continuous aerial assaults have ruined the lives of civilians in the SPLM-N controlled areas.
Sudanese Government warplanes have been targeting the civilians of Nuba Mountains since the outbreak of war in June 2011.
