The President of South Sudan has strongly supported transfer of Wau County headquarters to Baggari as a policy of taking services to the people.
Salva Kiir Mayardit said he supports the idea of County relocation and that state governor did not commit any crime in the issue of transfer.He called for citizen in Wau to be clam and that there is no reason for South Sudanese to kill themselves.
President Kiir directed the governor to continue in implementing the county transfer, while cautioning the citizen against taking the law into their hands.
He expressed condolence to the families that lost their relatives and their properties during the incidence and urged them to be patient.
President Kiir appealed to all not to revenge and celebrate Christmas and the New Year peacefully.
